ADA-Counselor - Southeast College (Education)
We are currently seeking a Counselor who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.
The Opportunity
You: You're a top-notch counselor dedicated to helping students resolve challenges so they can focus on getting their educations and achieving their goals.
Your mission: Provide the counseling services needed to assist students in identifying and mitigating obstacles to their academic, career and personal success.
Your work: You'll do various types of counseling, including career assessment and counseling to undecided majors; counseling of at-risk students and those on disciplinary probation or suspension; and online counseling to out-of-district, out-of-state and distance education students.
We'll rely on you to review medical documentation and determine appropriate recommendations, as well as to educate and assist faculty and staff with ADA and 504 regulations. You'll also assist in the development of career exploration resources that will be used in Student Success courses.
