Production Lead (Administrative)



Responsible for the coordination of print jobs for the printing process. Position manages workflow through all departments, processes job tickets and is responsible for daily productivity reports. This position will serve as support to the exempt Team Leader for the shift.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Assist training new employees and providing input for team member appraisals 10%
  • • Assist Team Leader and WIP Coordinator with the facilitation of late orders. 10%
  • • First point of contact for team members regarding production issues. 20%
  • • The Production Lead will also be responsible for the following: Assist Team Leader with weekly labor scheduling and daily workflow through all departments. 25%
  • • Other production duties as assigned. 35%
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)

EXPERIENCE
  • Must demonstrate strong prioritization and interpersonal communication skills leadership abilities and be knowledgeable of the printing process
  • At least one year of press and production experience strongly preferred
  • Able to coordinate projects while being a working member of the project team
  • Excellent written verbal presentation and communication skills are necessary as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to work well within a collaborative environment
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment and the ability to deliver superior results quickly
  • This position will challenge the candidate to step outside their area of expertise and develop new skills Relevant Experience (Required)
  • Experience using Windows-based PC applications including spreadsheet software.
  • The position requires standing for an 8-hour shift.
Salary: $21.50 - $30.00 depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
