Responsible to facilitate the day-to-day activities of fiber construction crew(s) in a geographic area. These crews perform construction on various Small Cell and Enterprise OSP projects. They operate heavy equipment, utilize various hand tools, and restore Crown Castle fiber networks using a consistent defined standard and procedures. This position is as an advisor, coach, trainer and mentor to these teams. Their success is your success.
The position will support the Sr. Manager of Network Integration and work across other fiber construction teams within the area, as well as provide support to Crown Castle cross-functional teams to improve the quality of processes, deliverables, and the end-to-end customer experience. Each fiber construction team is expected to maintain open communication across all areas of the business and work as a unit with consistency while building, implementing, and restoring or maintaining services; cognizant of fostering the vision and values of Crown Castle. This position succeeds when the geographic teams deliver our mutual KPIs including but not limited to meeting CapEx and OpEx budgets, MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) SLAs, % On-Time Install, fiber complete for small cell, and installed enterprise schedule.
Reports to: Sr. Manager of Integration
Working Conditions: Could be required to travel to project sites with exposure to heavy equipment and environmental conditions up to 80% of the time. Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions the remaining 20% of the time.
