We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Enterprise Technology organization in Richmond, VA.This role is critical in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of leadership, technical competence, and business insight to drive project success in a fast-paced environment. What you will be doing:
Evaluate project proposals to define scope, timelines, budgets, and execution strategies in collaboration with sponsors and key business partners
Define and handle deliverables, milestones, and resource plans with input from business unit leaders and subject matter authorities
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across internal and external contributors
Develop and implement communication strategies and risk mitigation plans with project sponsors and consultants
Monitor progress and ensure projects remain aligned with business goals and executive expectations
Maintain consistent documentation and reporting standards for all partners
Continuously identify and implement improvements to project management practices through feedback from team members and service providers
We want you to have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field
8+ years of experience in IT or business-facing roles with a strong focus on problem-solving and project execution
2+ years in a project management, business analyst or assistant PM role
Confirmed ability to lead teams and run multiple projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques for planning, tracking, and reporting
Ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization, with high emotional intelligence
Demonstrated strengths in analytical thinking, decision-making under uncertainty, and cross-functional collaboration
The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $116,200.00 - $168,400.00.
