Financial Data Analyst (Finance)



We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Financial Data Analyst to join our finance team! Hall's Culligan corporate headquarters are located in Wichita, KS. This role is a unique chance to work with leaders to shape the company's Business Intelligence strategy, driving growth and impacting key decisions from day one. We're looking for someone who's not just skilled but passionate about analyzing data to create meaningful insights. In this fast-paced environment, you'll take ownership of critical initiatives, showcase your analytical skills, and collaborate closely with the team to ensure accuracy and business value. Whether it's building dashboards or analyzing trends, our ideal candidate will bring a blend of initiative and expertise to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external IT resources to execute on a data integration and storage project
  • Design, build and maintain financial dashboards to support decision making
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity between performance dashboards and accounting reports/systems
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various internal and external sources
  • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities through data analysis
  • Dig into data to understand anomalies and/or error drivers
  • Develop and prepare financial summaries and key performance metrics for leadership team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional resources (IT, HR, Accounting, Operations, etc)
  • Automate recurring reports and processes
  • Educate organization on the new tools (how to use them, what they measure, etc)

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial analysis or data analyst role
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Experience Preferred:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or operating company is a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across analytical and non-analytical audiences
  • Experience building new measures and metrics that reflect key drivers of business success
  • Proven ability to communicate recommendations based on data and analysis
  • History of building relationships with cross-functional resources
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently
