RRT/PFT (Finance)



Nemours is seeking an RRT/PFT to join a great team in Orlando, FL! This position is responsible for: Performing all aspects of pulmonary function and related testing. Demonstrates knowledge of pulmonary anatomy, physiology and pathology.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine and specialty pulmonary function testing, stress testing, and metabolic assessment testing.
  • Performs complete and accurate patient assessment or reassessment.
  • Maintains and orders supplies necessary for pulmonary function lab.
  • Assist with patient flow of clinic.
  • Ensure provider's orders are completed.
  • Ensures medications are safely stored in an appropriate area as designated by law, and that medication expiration dates are evaluated on a monthly schedule.
  • Ensures accurate ICD-9 and CPT-4 codes are recorded.
  • Support the durable medical equipment needs of patients.
  • Respond to equipment issues for patients at ambulatory appointments

  • Qualifications:
    • Associates or higher degree in Respiratory Care required
    • Current licensure in Florida as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
    • RRT required
    • Current American Heart Association BLS required
