Job Description:
Activision Blizzard is seeking a high-performing Manager to lead our newly formed Technology Business Management (TBM) Office, reporting to the Director of Global Tech Sourcing & Procurement.

The Manager, TBM Office is responsible for the various processes, tools, and methods that provide technology leaders the ability to communicate the cost, quality, and value of IT investments to their business partners. The TBM office plays a critical function in enabling data-driven decision-making to better manage, plan, and optimize costs, value, and quality of all technology investments across ABK.

The ideal candidate is a highly organizedleader with a unique blend of business and technical savvy, and a strong focus on continuous improvement; a person with a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality by leveraging their relationships and excellent communication skills.

This role involves close collaboration with IT and Finance professionals at all levels within the organization, including C-level.

Your role at Activision Blizzard

As Manager, TBM Office at Activision Blizzard, you will:

  • Lead and drive the collaboration between IT Executives and Finance on IT Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, and cost transparency initiatives.
  • Establish a formal decision-making body for standardization of IT Financial and Performance analysis, decision-support, forecasting, and reporting;
  • Provide a centralized, authoritative structure for communicating financial performance of IT-related initiatives throughout the lines of business and functional areas;
  • Support internal stakeholders in their efforts to improve IT performance, and bring maturity to TBM activities supporting IT and financial performance.
  • Create a strong base of financial information and foundation for effective decision-making by leveraging people, processes, and tools, aiming to identify opportunities that enable cost optimization and efficiencies across ABK.
  • Oversee TBM Governance and maturity, developing and implementing a strategic TBM roadmap to drive incremental value and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Big picture thinker, with great ability to translate vision and strategy into plans and actions, and a bias to get stuff done.
  • Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures, including IT services and financial management processes, and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills - capable of motivating and managing organizations or teams to deliver desired results.
  • Sophisticated problem-solving skills. Able to tackle unstructured problems and build strategic frameworks and financial models.
  • A focus on optimizing organizational processes (making them more efficient and effective in order to better meet customer needs).
  • Extraordinary interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across the organization.
  • Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative.
  • Strong ITIL or Service Management background.
