Sr Nurse Clinical Specialist- Supply Chain (Healthcare)
Job Summary
Provide clinical expertise and customer education programs, materials, and resources in support of Medline clinical products and/or services.Job Description
This hybrid position will work 2 days a week in the Chicago office and 3 days a week from home, unless travel is to another Chicago area office location.
Responsibilities
Serve as clinical liaison between Medline and customer
Provide clinical support to customers and salesforce on clinical products and services
Assist in identifying and reviewing opportunities for clinically acceptable conversions to drive savings for customer through product cross reference and sampling
Partner with sales force on product trials, conversions and implementations
Support system/clinic wide SKU rationalization
Collaborate with clinical teams and inventory to operationalize and initiate product conversions as well as provide ongoing support to ensure successful product utilization
Records and prepares product and service utilization reports and updates applicable teams
Works in collaboration with the CSBA and Medline account manager to develop strategies and identify process improvements that are focused on substantial supply/service cost reduction, standardization and utilization, while maintaining or enhancing quality
Oversees opportunities and develops qualitative/quantitative analyses and methodologies for product/service utilization and cost reduction efforts focused on cost containment, utilization, waste reduction, and overall cost per service
Assists in connecting relevant product education materials between requesting department, education team and associated vendor
Evaluate relevant policies and procedures upon request; collaborate onsite with clinicians to finalize current practice, clinical protocols and SOPs
Conduct discovery assessments or coordinates specialty clinician discovery assessment; present findings of discovery assessments to Provider's Supply Chain and Nursing Leadership and end users
Formulate strategies and plans for product and solution development
Provide recommendations on practice improvement in conjunction with national nursing protocols
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of clinical experience (patient care, education, or medical sales/support)
This position will be located onsite at our customer's headquarters located in Chicago. Periodic travel will be required to customer's satellite locations throughout the Chicago area
Experience developing and delivering presentations/clinical information to various audience levels within an organization
Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
Experience prioritizing workload and scheduling effectively in order to meet deadlines
Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within, and external to, an organization
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Environment includes office setting and medical facilities
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare supply chain or value analysis experience

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$96,200.00 - $144,560.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
