Mid-Senior Structural Engineer (Finance)

Your Role:

As a Mid to Senior Level Structural Engineer, analysis, and execution of complex structural projects. You will leverage your extensive experience to provide technical expertise, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

  • Lead the development of advanced structural designs, calculations, and analyses for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
  • Work in an environment of coordinating work with multi-disciplines for overall successful project execution.
  • Utilize STADD to perform detailed structural analyses and provide innovative solutions.
  • Take a lead role in managing and overseeing structural engineering projects, from conceptualization to completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Engage with clients to understand project requirements, present technical solutions, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by participating in client meetings, proposal preparation, and networking activities.
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of structural designs and documentation.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and changes in building codes, integrating them into project designs.
  • Provide on-site support during construction, addressing any structural issues and collaborating with construction teams to ensure project success.
  • Conduct periodic site visits to assess construction progress and resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Civil / Structural Engineering with 8+ years of related experience in structural engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or is obtainable.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
  • Proficiency in advanced structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, STAAD.Pro).
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to use Autodesk AutoCAD 2D and 3D Platforms.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
