Position Summary:
The Member Outreach Associate is at the center of Alignment Healthcare's clinical model. Through outbound and inbound phone calls, the Associate will assist the member in completing clinical questionnaires and scheduling appointments, all while ensuring an excellent member experience.
General Duties/Responsibilities:
(May include but are not limited to)
Responsible for performing outbound courtesy calls and receiving all related inbound phone calls:
To complete Health Risk Assessment and/or Continuity of Care survey(s)
To schedule member appointments for a variety of clinical programs
To assist in arranging transportation to/from appointments
Responsible for timely call wrap-up to support outcomes, reporting, and out dial process
Register patients and enter demographics with accuracy and attention to detail
Perform and support other related call campaigns as needed
Perform other duties as assigned to support the member outreach efforts for member retention and increased member satisfaction
Practice good customer service principles (i.e. positive attitude, helpful, etc.)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Experience:
1 year minimum of related work experience and/or training OR
Education/Licensure:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other:
Customer service /telemarketing experience
Experience scheduling clinical appointments and/or home visits with AllScripts and/or EPIC Practice Management or related applications
Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese)
Previous experience with conducting telephonic clinical questionnaires
Knowledge of Medicare Managed Care Plans
