PT Tech a Timken Company subsidiary is seeking a skilled IT Systems Technician to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and technologies within our organization. This role is ideal for a problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for technology. You will be responsible for daily administration and reporting within Gensuite, Etrage, and Winchill, along with general site IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general site IT support including laptop setup, password resets, and software administration.
  • Set up workstations for new employees and manage office moves.
  • Oversee audio/visual needs for offices and conference rooms.
  • Administer Etrage and Winchill systems.
  • Assist Safety and Facilities managers with routers, wiring, and phone systems, including phone list updates.
  • Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives such as visual status boards and serial number logging database interfaces.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and operations personnel to prioritize jobs and conduct risk assessments (JBRA).
  • Perform EHS data entry within Gensuite and monitor calendars to ensure timely and accurate event recording.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in help desk, software, computer hardware, or programming; 3 years preferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to learn and administer Gensuite, Etrage, and Winchill.
  • Experience managing all aspects of helpdesk and ITSM.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and programming issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
