Job Summary:
We're seeking an Associate Enterprise Architect with AWS expertise, strong development background, and familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts. This role bridges technical implementation and architectural strategy, making it ideal for someone aspiring to grow into an Enterprise Architect position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural standards are followed.
- Create architectural diagrams and documentation using tools like ArchiMate, BizzDesign.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate AWS services to meet business requirements.
- Assist in defining migration strategies of legacy applications to a modern technology stack and proactively identify solutions to reduce tech debt with an aim to consolidate multiple technologies.
- Participate in technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance.
- Help define and implement cloud-native governance framework.
- Participate in implementing proof of concepts.
Skills and Requirements:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Software development experience in one or more languages (C#, Java, Python, React, MongoDb, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles, Microservices Architecture patterns and frameworks
- Exposure to Enterprise Integration patterns and API design
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred qualifications:

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer)

Working experience with ArchiMate or similar enterprise architecture modeling languages

Familiarity of Azure services

Experience in Generative AI, Traditional AI, and Machine Learning to develop proof-of-concepts.
