Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for directing the daily functions of nursing assistants and ensuring the overall care of residents is provided in accordance with facility policies and government regulations. This role involves a mix of administrative duties, direct nursing care, and staff supervision to maintain a safe and high-quality environment for all residents.

Physical Demands
This role requires the ability to move intermittently throughout the workday, push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds, and cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. You may be required to assist in the emergency evacuation of residents.
Work Environment
You will work in various areas of the facility, including nursing stations, resident rooms, and offices. The position may involve working beyond normal hours and being on call during emergencies. You may be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, and hazardous chemicals.
