Fabrication Sales Engineer (Sales)



Job Summary

Responsible for working with customers to determine their needs and provide solutions utilizing the full breadth of Kloeckner's material and processing portfolio. Will develop cost models and cost estimates for value added processing opportunities. Will maintain and adjust cost models and pricing related to value added contractual obligations. Will support the general sales effort for value added processing including sales, order maintenance and order entry activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of value-added processing opportunities for compatibility
  • Development of product and customer specific quotes for value added processing opportunities
  • Maintenance of cost models and pricing programs for contractual value-added processing business
  • Develop presentations or other documentation to present to customers
  • Provide project management support on large-scale, complex orders
  • Value added sales support
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to read and understand customer drawings and specifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from 4-year college or university, preferably in an engineering discipline
  • Prior sales experience a plus
  • Prior manufacturing experience a plus
