Senior Account Manager (Finance)

The role of the Senior Account Manager is to work alongside the senior account team managing the day-to-day across a large portfolio of business. This work includes but is not limited to influencer/creator marketing inclusive of social strategy, creative content development and review, account management, activation and reporting.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and culturally attuned team player with a strong understanding of the influencer space and experience managing complex accounts with multiple stakeholders. They should have a true passion for pop culture and emerging trends, and how these intersect with consumer brands in meaningful ways. This account is fast-paced, nuanced, and rapidly growing. This role will report directly into the VP, Account Director at UEG.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Support best-in-class execution on projects across the portfolio of business, ensuring seamless completion of deliverables (on time, on budget and above expectations)
    • Write, edit and proofread materials ensuring quality and consistency with the ability to deliver client facing documents.
    • Point on day-to-day client communication via email and meetings sharing proactive project status updates and content for review/approval
    • Support day-to-day brand client work including integrated marketing planning focused on creator and celebrity partnerships and programs
    • Lead internal status meetings and actively contribute to external client status meetings
    • Work collaboratively with creator and account teams across multiple simultaneous programs
    • Understand and master internal, nuanced operations and inter-team cooperation and cross-collaboration
    • Provide client service administration including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, taking and distributed notes, compiling trend reports and recap reports
    • In conjunction with internal partners and agencies, contribute content ideas that can express appropriate key brand messaging points in ways that can resonate with the targeted consumer and demographic
    • Contribute to strategic planning and creative ideation, offering recommendations that are both culturally relevant and grounded in client business goals
    • Research, propose and prepare POVs when needed as it relates to client appropriate influencers, partners, etc.
    • Ensure a project consistently conforms to budget/timeline, working with the VP Account Director and Finance regularly
    • Lead onboarding of new team members as needed, ensuring they are quickly integrated into account workflows and client expectations
    • Own campaign recaps and data-driven narratives, collaborating with creator and measurement team, to showcase impact and ROI to clients
    • Stay on top of industry news and trends to recommend new opportunities to the team and clients.
    • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, social media platforms and trends
    • Actively participate in agency brainstorm sessions, on topics and clients, throughout the organization
    • Aid in the implementation of new capabilities and processes, always looking to improve our ways of working
    • Demonstrate professional behaviors and pursuit of excellence in all operations

Qualifications:

    • 3 - 5 years experience in an agency setting
    • A bachelor's degree in relevant field from an accredited college or university
    • A knowledge of the social/digital space as well as influencer marketing including but not limited to influencer/talent search and acquisition, content development and management of social platform ins and outs
    • Experience working with CPG, beverage, or QSR brands is a plus; familiarity with the coffee or food/lifestyle space preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for a number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner based on pre-set deadlines.
    • Self starter with the ability to prioritize work load autonomously, but knows when to proactively manage up
    • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills; able to inspire trust and build rapport across all levels of stakeholders.
    • Unflappable under pressure with the ability to manage multiple priorities gracefully
    • Strong and consistent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Willingness to wear whatever hat is necessary to ensure team and client success
    • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement of marketing skills; set and pursue stretch goals

$60,000 - $75,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
