Receiving and Final Inspector (Manufacturing)
Verify part quantity against the packing list, PO, or traveler.
Inspect part presentation, including:
Packaging compliance
Part cleanliness
Presence of any physical damage (dings, scratches, rust, FOD)
Confirm that all incoming documentation is complete, correct, and matches physical parts:
Certificates of Conformance
Purchase Orders
Customer Special Instructions
Job Travelers / Tags
Identify and segregate nonconforming material for Quality Engineering review.
Ensure all incoming parts are not logged into the system until inspection is complete and passed.
Perform final inspection of completed parts for visual defects and workmanship in accordance with customer, internal, and industry standards.
Validate final packaging, labeling, and shipment readiness.
Sign off on final inspection prior to release for delivery or customer pickup.
Frequently moves about the production facility and remains stationary for extended periods of time.
Must be able to move up to 35lbs throughout the duration of the shift
Ability to work in a production environment around chemicals and NDT equipment with appropriate PPE
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of quality inspection experience, preferably in aerospace, NDT, or chemical processing environments.
Working knowledge of basic quality inspection tools and documentation (gages, calipers, checklists, travelers, etc.).
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, or DoD standards is highly desirable.
Ability to interpret blueprints, job travelers, and technical instructions.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and documentation.

Travel
This position may require local travel on occasion.
