CU Central Coordinator (Administrative)



Description:

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for the office: answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
Process general forms (address change, name changes, etc.).
Process transcript requests, enrollment verifications, diploma reprints
Supervise student employees.
Support graduation processing, including degree certification and diploma distribution.
Troubleshoot registration and portal issues for students and faculty
Process returning student clearance, student cancellations and other tasks as assigned.
Maintain files, maintain inventory of supplies and order as appropriate.
Help coordinate advising workshops and academic success programs
Coordinate duplication and mailings.
Support special projects and events across Enrollment Management
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

1-3 years' administrative experience, preferably in higher education, required
Bachelor's degree


Technology Skills

Facility with typical desktop computer software programs, including Excel, required
Proficiency in online environments required, ability to learn the University's administrative computing software, reporting tools, scheduling software, etc.


Human Relations Skills:

Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type.
Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people.
Student focused sense of urgency and responsiveness
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Attention to detail and accuracy
Team oriented attitude.
Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work in a fast paced setting.
Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.


Compliance:
