Special Event Operations Manager (Finance)
ยท Collaborate with the event planning team to understand event details and develop comprehensive logistics plans including production schedules, load-in/load-out timelines and equipment assignments.
Organize and manage front-of house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) equipment layouts based on event requirements and budget parameters.
Direct the scheduling and coordination of event logistics including equipment, rentals and vendor deliveries.
Oversee on-site event setup, operations and breakdown to ensure a seamless experience for clients and guests.
Utilize software such as Caterease to efficiently manage inventory, equipment allocation, and staffing requirements.
Collaborate with the staffing team to develop and maintain accurate staff schedules for each event.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather internal feedback and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
What We're Looking For:
Extensive experience in food and beverage operations with a focus on event logistics.
Strong leadership skills in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new software systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Team-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and professionalism.
