Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Friday!

Training: Must be able to train on day shift for the first few weeks.

What you will do:

The Stock Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining and organizing spare parts and operational supply inventory, as well as processing purchase requisitions for special projects to ensure timely availability of materials.

How you will do it:

• Receives, stores and issues tools, materials and supplies such as machine attachments, measuring devices, power hand tools, wrenches etc. 
• Keeps accurate record of issuance and receipt of tools and parts.
• Maintain a data log for consumption data for machine parts, fuses and other expendable items.
• Crating and uncrating equipment, equipment parts and supplies as needed. 
• Practice good organizational skills, as well as time management skills.
• Use strong communication skills – you would be working with several departments within the facility.
• Perform Cycle counts on a routine daily basis and report findings to Buyer.
• Answer calls from the dock door for deliveries (i.e. UPS, FEDEX etc.)
• Ensure parts are stored in the proper location.
• Responsible for proper shipment of all maintenance items to be returned or repaired.
• Maintain organization, 5S standards, inside the stockroom as well as immediately outside the stock room as needed to include receiving dock area.
• Daily checks for walk-behind stock machinery.
• Use the phone, company email and MS Office products.
• Data input Maximo
• Any other duties assigned by management.

What we look for:

• High level of organization and ability to think critically with little supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Inventory experience
• Computer experience
• SAP or Maximo experience preferred
• Prefer Forklift experience

Our fully integrated plant in West Union, South Carolina produces all the parts

that go into batteries used in cars, boats, and heavy-duty trucks. We 

began operations in 1985 and now employ more than 300 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through The Salvation Army, March of Dimes, back-to-school drives and the Oconee County Animal Shelter.
