Aircraft Site Supervisor (Finance)
This is a contractor position, not a GS position.
Position is dependent on award of contract by the government.
Award notification decision is expected to be in October 2022.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Conduct investigations and generate reports arising from any quality defect notices issued against Contractor employees.
Verify employee timesheets.
Conduct new employee introductions and initial indoctrinations.
Manages all actions related to the servicing, repair, and overhaul for aircraft and aircraft engines while ensuring their safe for flight/RFI status.
Act as advisor to the aircraft maintenance team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Utilizes extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish maintenance goals.
Any and all other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Required educational/skills background:
Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree or equivalent with minimum four (4) years' related depot work experience.
Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S.).
Three (3) to ten (10) years' experience with military Type Model Series (TMS) aircraft with three (3) years of experience in management/supervision.
Demonstrated knowledge and working experience in military aircraft maintenance organizations governed under CNAFINST 4790.2 (series).
Experienced in all aspects of safety, documentation, hazardous materials (HAZMAT), training/licenses/certifications, scheduling, production control and management.
Well experienced in supervising, hiring, firing, training, planning, scheduling, controlling projects and managing personnel.
Experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives directly related to aircraft systems, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability.
Physical Demands:
This position requires normal physical functions. Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing. Normal color/depth perception and no record of emotional instability are required.
Work Environment (ADA):
May be required to work in areas in or near a hangar/ flight line that may be noisy at times. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in or passing thru a hazardous area.
Office environment, hangar and flightline
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud at times.
