The Project Code Manager is responsible for maintaining all documentation related to American Society of Mechanical Engineer's (ASME) code for Watertube Boilers and unfired pressure vessels. As a critical component within the organization, this individual creates registries for ASME "S" and National Boiler Inspection Code (NBIC) "R" stamp projects, which indicates to customers that B&W's parts comply with code requirements. Serving as an SME for NBIC and ASME, this person will collaborate with various arms of the business as well as outside vendors and insurance carriers to uphold codes.
Develop and maintain ASME Code documentation for Watertube Boilers and unfired pressure vessels
Develop and maintain NBIC R-2 Reports for alterations on existing boilers
Create and Maintain B&W's National Board registries for both ASME 'S' and NBIC 'R' stamp projects.
Approve National Board Invoices for all boilers and pressure vessels registered with the national Board
