Global Delivery Consultant (R-17988) (Finance)



As a Global Delivery Consultant, you are a significant leader, contributor and influencer in driving critical organizational project/initiatives to a successful completion. Managing those initiatives in a project management fashion. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, energetic team player, successful at informal mentoring/coach others, works independently and can adapt to change in a fast past environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to own and manage a smaller portfolio of large scale customer accounts. You are responsible for the creation and submission of order requirements to our technology partners for fulfillment of batch deliverables and the performing quality analysis of final output files. You provide ongoing pre and post-sales support to both our internal and external customers. Engage regularly with internal and external customers in support of the best business practices by providing insight and product expertise, resulting in maximum product and customer satisfaction. You are an influencer and a significant contributor in driving projects/initiatives to a successful completion. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, energetic team player, successful at informal mentoring/coach others, works independently and can adapt to change in a fast past environment.

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • 1.Support Delivery Transformation and Specialized Initiatives
  • Actively participate and assume lead roles in specialty teams and/or critical transformation initiatives
  • Act as SME's and Influencers of transformation changes and initiatives
  • Take lead role in high profile, high impact initiatives (new products, technology transformation, Global Accounts Model)
  • 2.Mentor/Coach/Advocate
  • Actively participate in meetings, share BDP's
  • Support team and department initiatives and influence others positively
  • Identify gaps in skills/knowledge/performance on team or department level and develop plans to close gaps
  • Work closely with Leader/Team Lead on best leveraging expertise and knowledge
  • 3. Provide Extensive Consultative Support
  • To business partners, Customers and Delivery Team Members on custom solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend alternatives and options with outside in lens
  • Support new product initiatives, partners and local markets
  • 4.Own and Manage Primarily Large-Scale Customer Accounts (possesses ability to handle ANY type of Delivery job)
  • Recurring and Ad hoc Requests
  • Analyze Customer Requirements
  • Establish and monitor project timelines
  • Prepare project specifications
  • Work with Vendors to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time, driving customer satisfaction
  • QA Final output
  • Ensure consistency and compliance of output in relation to customer contract
  • 5.Innovation
  • Serve as role model that inspires innovation and teamwork within the team and across department
  • Provide on-going support to Internal & External Customers and Business Partners
  • Promote expanded knowledge of Delivery processes
  • Determine feasibility of new opportunities
  • Research issues involving data quality or potential service failures
  • Manage and foster internal/external customer relationships
  • Continually evaluate processes and areas of improvement and take lead role in development and execution of plans
  • Develop innovative alternatives and modern approaches to the areas of our business we have direct control over
  • Education/Experience and Competencies

  • 4 year college degree in Business Management or the equivalent in practical experience
  • Strong problem solving, high attention to detail, analytical and time management skills
  • Must be able to communicate (oral & written) complex order specifications and possess experience in establishing project schedules
  • Project management experience and proven quality assurance expertise
  • Relationship Management and customer facing experience with large scale accounts
  • Results-oriented individual, able to handle multiple and/or complex priorities in an aggressive growth environment
  • Must be experienced with Microsoft Office and Project Management software tools (MS Word, Excel, Project, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Must be willing to travel to customer site or D&B offices for customer visits and/or planning sessions, if needed
  • Job Requirements/Essential Functions

  • Ability to sit, speak and operate telephone and/or computer for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle pressure, stressful conditions, and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed
  • Ability to travel by any form of transportation
