Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve deli sandwiches and sides according to recipes and presentation standardsSet up and maintain a fully stocked and visually appealing deli station with fresh toppings, meats, cheeses, and breadsEngage with customers in a friendly and respectful manner, providing fast, accurate, and courteous serviceMaintain a safe and clean work area, adhering to all sanitation and cleanliness protocolsSupport teammates with daily food prep, catering orders, and cleaning tasks as neededFollow basic food handling guidelines and all departmental SOPs consistentlyPractice clean-as-you-go habits to maintain hygiene throughout the shiftAssist with washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and end-of-day breakdownsMonitor food freshness and restock as needed while minimizing wasteComply with local, state, and federal food safety and workplace safety standardsParticipate in team huddles, communicate effectively with leadership, and maintain a positive attitude
