Job Summary

The Manager of Technical Assurance and Delivery plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the Value Assurance process is fully implemented while progressing timely maturation of technically and economically robust investment opportunities. This requires working closely with the Subsurface teams in technical evaluation of investment opportunities, actively participating in both technical discipline and cross-functional peer reviews as projects mature. The successful candidate will also facilitate discussions with multidisciplinary teams to clearly define, incorporate, and mitigate risks and uncertainties in development decisions. Being able to challenge assumptions, understand the impact of risks and uncertainties, and help teams find creative solutions that meet technical and economic objectives is imperative.

A Manager of Technical Assurance and Delivery needs to understand and support larger organizational objectives and metrics. Using this knowledge will help translate how those objectives are supported at a technical level throughout the opportunity maturation process. In addition, this role must value quality data and transparency, supporting initiatives to continually improve how data is stored, integrated, accessed and analyzed.

Although primarily focused on supporting the progression of Offshore opportunities, having a working knowledge of the Onshore scope and challenges will help ensure that the Value Assurance process is being implemented consistently across the organization. This global approach will help identify areas of improvement and the ability to share knowledge across all the Subsurface teams.

The Manager of Technical Assurance and Delivery will also have Offshore focused operational direct reports that conduct petrophysical analysis as well as helping develop formation evaluation programs. In addition, this team will liaison internally with regulatory, drilling and completion staff to ensure an opportunity is ready to execute and provide daily updates during operations.

In summary, this role is essential for driving the successful delivery of opportunities while ensuring that the Value Assurance process is fully integrated and adhered to, thereby supporting the company's strategic objectives and operational excellence.

The Manager of Technical Assurance and Delivery will work in our Houston Corporate office and may work two (2) days a week remotely.
