Program Manager I- LAND FMF (Finance)

Position Overview:

The Program Manager I will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic projects, establishing and lunching a new project. The role involves setting up standard process, managing communications with stakeholders and ensuring the project delivered on time and within budget. Strong leadership, effective planning and risk management essential for this position.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Develop effective financial tracking methods for programs spend, cost and profit.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to facilitate clear communication and smooth project execution
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers; both internal and external.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and prepare status reports for senior management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for project activities, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Prepare and present program management reviews as scheduled for internal management and external customers.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled, productive, team meetings using best practices in meeting facilitation

  • Customer
  • IMP personnel.
  • Program Managers.

Education, Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree is required. 5-10 years functional experience may substitute
  • 1-3 years of functional (using skill set) experience is required
  • 1-3 years of management experience is required
  • 1-3 years of industry experience is required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required (Unique and Measurable):
  • Customer-oriented attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal skills are necessary.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with demanding customers and foreign personnel on a daily basis.
  • Familiarity with computerized management systems such as ERP and PLM and a good handle of MS office products especially Excel and Power point
  • Good knowledge of program management methods and Earned Value Management.
  • Good knowledge of contracts: fixed price, cost plus and time and material.
  • Good skills in time management, facilitation and problem-solving.
  • Good skills in the use of MS Office, with emphasis on high level Excel.
  • Good ability to clearly communicate ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Good ability to create and give program management review presentations.
  • Good ability to negotiate and apply tact and diplomacy with internal/external customers and foreign personnel.
  • Good ability to work independently in building and then leading an integrated product team.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete programs successfully; within scope, on time, within budget and delivering a quality product to the customer's satisfaction; at the PM level
