Primary Objective

Empower Ingram Micro partners to accelerate their growth by delivering expert pre-sales consultation, strategic training, and technical education. This role focuses on helping partners build and evolve their practices around emerging technologies, high-margin services, and innovative solutions-ultimately driving faster and more sustainable business growth with Ingram Micro.

You'll serve as a trusted advisor, fostering strong relationships with resellers and vendors, and guiding them toward becoming proactive, profitable, and service-oriented leaders in the IT channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Evangelism:
    Introduce and demonstrate cutting-edge technologies, market trends, and business outcomes-including Watsonx, Cognos, CP4D, and SPSS-to help partners identify new opportunities and expand their capabilities.
  • Partner Enablement:
    Equip partners with the tools and knowledge to become strategic advisors to their clients, focusing on profitability, service delivery, and long-term growth.
  • Thought Leadership:
    Provide strategic guidance to key decision-makers, influencing their investment in scalable growth initiatives through Ingram Micro's ecosystem.
  • Practice Development:
    Educate partners on best-in-class IT solutions and services, raising their technical proficiency and helping them win more business through relevance and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Understand partner sales organizations, identify key influencers, and build collaborative relationships that drive mutual success.

What Defines Success in This Role

You consistently deliver measurable growth-often 2x to 4x above baseline-by helping partners capitalize on emerging technologies and market shifts. You move beyond speeds and feeds, articulating the real-world business value of solutions. Your approach is consultative, agnostic, and focused on long-term partner development.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years in a related technical or enablement role)
  • Deep expertise in Watsonx, Cognos, CP4D, and SPSS
  • Strong grasp of channel sales models and experience working with resellers, distributors, and vendors
  • Exceptional communication skills-able to translate complex technical concepts into business value
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strategic problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges
  • Willingness to travel within your region to support partners and attend industry events
  • Demonstrated success in influencing stakeholders and driving adoption of technical solutions

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,100.00 - $165,100.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
