Sr HSE Manager (Finance)

Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making will contribute to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.As a Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager at Honeywell, you will be accountable for overseeing and directing the organization's HSE efforts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in HSE Engineering
  • 6+ years of leadership and direct team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Certification in HSE or a related field is a plus.

  • Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, including engineers, specialists, and support staff, ensuring efficient and effective HSE engineering practices
  • Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications
  • Stay updated on changing regulations and industry best practices
  • Develop and implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies
  • Develop and manage the HSE budget, allocate resources, and seek cost-effective solutions to maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental protection
  • Promote environmental sustainability by implementing ecofriendly practices and minimizing the environmental impact of the organizations operations
  • Establish and enforce quality control standards in HSE engineering, conducting regular inspections and performance assessments
  • Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters
