The Team

Join our team as a Senior Developer and contribute to the design and creation of world-class software.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of solutions that operate in all facets of A&M Tax: from internal tools that improve efficiencies to client-facing enterprise systems.

This position will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: documentation, development, testing, debugging, and support. You will have opportunities to mentor junior developers by providing guidance and knowledge sharing to help them grow and improve their skills.

How you will contribute

• Work with lead developers and architects to understand and implement solutions to challenging business problems.
• Contribute to the development of clean architecture with an emphasis on reusable components.
• Responding to escalated support issues.
• Build efficient and maintainable code.
• Test your work to ensure high standards of quality.
• Mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, management of information systems, or information technology and accounting
  AND/OR
  A master's degree in a related field.
• A practical approach to building software.
• 3 to 7 years of experience working with:
  • Microsoft .NET, C#, and object-oriented principles
  • JavaScript/TypeScript and React
  • Relational databases like MS SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
  • Web API development, testing, and deployment
  • Utilizing and deploying common Azure services
• A natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work.
• A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
• Excellent communication and business writing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $85,000 - $105,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
