System Administrator (Temporary) (Finance)

Description

Qualis LLC is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Systems Administrator to join our team on a full-time/temporary basis.! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the energy to join a rapidly growing team.

• Serves as a System Administrator implementing security controls, perform ongoing maintenance and prevent, detect, analyze and respond to security incidents following the Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG)
• Collaborates with customers to uphold operations by installing, repairing and updating computer systems, assisting customers with hardware and software challenges, and maintaining working components through repair or replacement.
• Follows information security policies, methods, standards, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA/National Institutes of Standard and Technology (NIST) standards and practices to organizational information systems, IT reference materials and interpret regulations.
• Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, rules, and protection needs tailored through the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Requirements

• Must have 3-5 years' of relevant experience, experience may be substituted for a degree in a relevant field.
• Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification which is a DoD requirement for any IT employee
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Must be familiar with the operation and use of various Controlled Cryptographic Items (i.e., TACLANE, vIPer and STE type phones). Maintaining TACLANES as needed or provide guidance to assigned COMSEC Users for keying actions.
• Experience with security compliance, participating in the end-to-end process of obtaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) and the activities that must take place to maintain that authority.
• Experience with information security, such as identification of tactics, techniques, and procedures used by malicious actors to exploit the vulnerabilities and weaknesses of a given system and recommended remediation strategies.
• In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral & written communication, and 4) problem solving.
