Staff Product Manager (Finance)

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Staff Product Manager to lead our Arrays product portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of commercial strategy, customer engagement, and cross-functional execution. You will be responsible for driving product lifecycle management, market adoption, and contributing to new product conception through launch across our innovative array-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
    Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for array products, aligning with commercial goals and customer needs. Lead prioritization of features and enhancements based on market feedback and business impact. Collaborate closely with Software and Assay R&D teams to ensure alignment and feasibility.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    Partner with Sales, R&D, Marketing, and Operations to ensure successful product launches and sustained market performance. Serve as the product voice in forums such as Quarterly Product Roadmap reviews and internal R&D planning sessions. Identify key revenue movers/risks/upsides and provide to business and stakeholders. Support Array Sales Teams and continue as their liason between the commercial team and other internal divisions.
  • Customer Engagement & Advocacy
    Engage with field teams (Global) and key accounts to gather insights, resolve issues, and drive adoption. Translate customer feedback into actionable product decisions. Represent the customer voice in product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Operational Excellence
    Own product lifecycle processes including forecasting, supply planning, and issue resolution. Monitor product performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Product phase in-phase out strategy, and address ASP erosion
  • Market Intelligence & Innovation
    Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for differentiation and growth, including new applications, reagent kits, and software solutions. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Go-to-Market Execution
    Define and execute go-to-market plans in collaboration with Marketing and Sales. Develop product messaging, positioning, and launch materials. Train internal teams and support customer-facing enablement.
  • Business Case Development
    Build and present business cases for new product investments, including market sizing, revenue projections, and ROI analysis. Influence executive stakeholders and secure alignment across functions. Participate in Quarterly Business Review of the Array portfolio.
  • Risk Management & Compliance
    Ensure product compliance with relevant regulatory standards as needed and internal quality processes. Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in genomics, diagnostics, or life sciences
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or another related field required. Advanced degree in Science or Management is a Plus.
  • Proven success managing complex product portfolios and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Experience with Array technologies and customer-facing roles is highly desirable.
  • Less than 10% domestic travel

The estimated base salary range for the Staff Product Manager role based in the United States of America is: $126,800 - $190,200. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
