Warehouse Inventory Associate & Field Assistant (Finance)

Adams Door Co, a DH Pace Company Inc. in Des Moines, IA, is currently looking for a Warehouse Inventory Associate that will also support Field Technicians on job sites! We are looking for an individual who can play a pivotal role in material handling to ensure project requirements are met efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will encompass shipping, receiving, managing inventory, and supporting technicians on job sites in the field.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Receive and inspect materials, verify counts, sort and store stock, and stage items for installation or shipment
  • Participating in physical inventory and cycle counts to maintain an accurate inventory
  • Use software and equipment to track inventory, operate tools and machinery (e.g., box cutters, pallet jacks, forklifts), and maintain a clean and safe warehouse.
  • Supporting the installation and/or repair a wide range of garage doors and operating systems
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Support warehouse and field operations with other assigned tasks.

Successful candidates will:
  • Have a High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • 1 or more years of Warehouse experience
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office
  • Be team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Have the ability to safely lift 100 pounds
