Assistant Production Supervisor 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

How will you make an impact?

As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily production processes on 2nd shift at our Monument, CO facility. You'll drive operational excellence by aligning production activities with business priorities, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading continuous improvement efforts to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

What will you do?

  • Support production leadership in setting daily, weekly, and long-term priorities.
  • Assist with coordination between production, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize output.
  • Analyze reports to identify and resolve quality and production issues.
  • Monitor production metrics and compile weekly/monthly reports.
  • Drive completion of production schedules and adherence to takt time.
  • Oversee line cleanliness, organization, and compliance with 6S standards.
  • Reduce material waste and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support the accurate completion of Day by the Hour (DBTH) boards and resolve logged issues promptly.
  • Monitor SPC data and act on repetitive defects or trends.
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and formal performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Maintain communication of policies and procedures across the team.
  • Ensure availability of tools, materials, and supplies to support daily operations.
  • Lead efforts to lower defects per million (DPM) and improve site performance metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How will you get here?

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role.
  • Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production flows, and logistics planning.
  • Proven ability to analyze performance data and apply solutions for process improvement.
  • Effective in change management and leading cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and production tracking tools.
  • Experience with production planning, scheduling, and quality systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DBTH boards.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practices.
  • Experience in a regulated or high-volume manufacturing environment.

The pay range for this role is $65,800 - $118,500. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: September 30, 2025.
