This is a Hybrid position with 3 days a week on-site. We have the flexibility of hiring this employee in Buffalo-NY OR Irvine-CA.

Your role:

The Global Finance Intelligence - Compliance & Quality Specialist will be responsible for testing and validation activities that ensure the quality and compliance of financial and digital products. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to execute Finance quality assurance plans and user acceptance scripts for new functionality releases, communicate defect, and execute user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure the quality and compliance of financial and digital products.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to execute quality assurance plans and user acceptance scripts for new functionality releases.
  • Communicate defects and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure products meet business requirements and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of quality assurance activities.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of quality assurance systems.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and Technical Teams: Work closely with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and technical teams to ensure the accuracy and validity of testing data.
  • Update Testing Scripts: Make necessary updates to scripts within the xRay testing system.
  • Defect Management: Identify and document defects, then communicate these issues to both product and technical teams.
  • Monitor Defect Resolution: Keep track of the progress and completion of defect fixes.
  • Maintain Test Scripts Repository: Ensure that the repository of test scripts is up-to-date and well-organized.
  • Utilize the QA play book

What you bring to the role:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a financial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with finance, IT, and business teams to drive system improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex finance-related system issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially in global finance environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience navigating SAP for AP, AR, Credit, and Revenue Recognition (Rev Rec).
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development environments, with hands-on experience in iterative processes.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Certification in Quality Assurance, Lean Sigma, and/or Design Thinking is a plus.

Educational Requirements

  • A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1 year position specific experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $74,400.00 - $119,100.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
