Position Summary
CLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Communications to develop strategic communications plans that will elevate the issues of voting rights and redistricting. The Senior Manager, Communications will report to CLC's Director, Communications and serve as a liaison between the communications team and the litigation/policy teams working on voting rights and redistricting. The position requires knowledge of voting rights and redistricting through work at a good government organization, watchdog agency/nonprofit, political campaign or other relevant experience.
Please note this position will focus on CLC's voting rights and redistricting portfolio, not CLC's campaign finance and ethics portfolio.
We work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and only encourage team players to apply. This position works with a large team and requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, confident project management, excellent writing skills and ability to work some nights/weekends for rapid response, when necessary.
