Global Healthcare Strategy Lead (Finance)

Role description:

Reporting to USA Healthcare Market Sector Lead, a dotted line to Healthcare GPGD and USA PGMs the candidate will have proven leadership skills and is motived to support the growth of the Healthcare practice across USA and take a leadership role in respect to our Global Operating Model in Healthcare Consulting, linking disparate parts of the Arcadis family and service offering and interacting with both internal and external stakeholders globally.

The individual must have extensive knowledge and experience within the international healthcare market and strong proven business development capabilities across multiple key regional markets. Key responsibilities include leadership through growth in new business, being an active contributor to the global healthcare strategy and driving its outward facing activity to elevate the brand in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of leadership skills and expertise in the healthcare sector to develop and lead a dynamic team effectively across USA and in our core healthcare regions. Adept problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills are pivotal in fostering productive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Role accountabilities:

  • Market Leadership: Focus on providing leadership in the healthcare market in collaboration with Arcadis studios across the USA, with a focus on Healthcare Consulting.
  • Responsible for advancing strategic initiatives and client pursuit discussions/strategies and providing strategic input on projects across USA.
  • Contribution to business development and client engagement, team leadership while identifying future market trends and opportunities for growth and advancement of the market
  • Collaboration with healthcare leaders across Arcadis healthcare international platform.
  • Responsible for the leadership in developing our Healthcare Consulting Market facing approach, linking both local and global Arcadis service offerings, with a focus on strategic client engagement at pre-planning stages of healthcare infrastructure.
  • Responsible for the communication and delivery of the outward facing strategy across USA in respect to Healthcare Consulting.
  • Works collaboratively with A&U business leaders in USA and our global Growth team to develop marketing and business development strategies to win new work.
  • Develops business case, fee strategies and risk assessment in support of go-no-go reviews in conjunction with local PGMs.
  • Increases awareness and exposure of Arcadis's healthcare practice to our clients and the profession locally, regionally and within the country.
  • Implements a Global and National growth strategy in the marketplace.
  • Mentors, advises, and nurtures the current and future leaders across our studios creating a 'redundancy' in key client relationships.
  • Leadership of a global network (both internal and external) in respect to a global operating network for healthcare consulting.
  • Act as a line manager to a healthcare consulting team, initially within a local region with a dotted line connections to global colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Architectural Degree from an accredited program, Masters' degree is preferred.
  • Licensed Architect with current registration in the US considered an assest
  • Ability to think strategically and with an equal interest in business and practice issues with a minimum of 12 years of experience.
  • Existing relationships in the following sectors: Heatlhcare.
  • Experience with large complex projects within a large multi-disciplinary practice.
  • Strategic thinking leadership skills, with an ability to connect business with practice.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project coordination and related requirements of all disciplines, under demanding deadlines.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $122,000 - $208,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
