Window/Door Installation - Service Technician (Maintenance)
Provide exceptional customer service and professional demeanor, representative of Millard Lumber.
Install and deliver structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, trim, doors or hardware using hand and/or power tools.
Troubleshoots and adjusts products in the field.
Use and work on ladder or scaffolding.
Will need to manually or with the use of a forklift, load/unload materials on/off trucks.
Records and reports details of damaged or broken parts.
Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair and replace, using power or hand tools.
Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
When driving company vehicle, report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicle; Check vehicle to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Demonstrate decision-driving skills by safely delivering products in a timely manner in accordance with DOT regulations and damage-free.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.
Education/Experience
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
Experience in window/door installation and repair preferred
Other Requirements
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
Must have a valid and unrestricted license with an acceptable diving record
Must be able to obtain or possess a DOT physical
Must work scheduled hours Monday-Friday, may be required to work an occasional weekend and overtime
Maintain consistent work attendance
Adhere to Millard Lumber's Safety Protocols and guidelines

Verbal & Written Communication skills and map/GPS reading abilities.
Ability to comply with daily job changes /schedules with a positive attitude.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as an individual and as a team to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
Willing to obtain other training if deemed necessary in performance of responsibilities and continuing education.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Employee must have clear, close vision for reading and repairing of products. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, balance, stoop, grasp, talk, and hear. Job may require reaching at or above shoulder level and below waist. Will occasionally lift/push/pull up to 80 pounds. Can perform activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Jobsite visits are required and are subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
