Manager, Accounts Payable (Finance)



Job Description

The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager manages and coordinates all accounts payable and expenditures functions of the organization. The AP Manager will oversee the processing of vendor invoices, preparation of payments, reconciliation of accounts, and the management of queries from both internal and external parties. They will assist team members in accomplishing the goals of the department and will cultivate an inclusive and respectful working relationship with team members that supports a sense of belonging.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Oversees the accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments, compliance, and continuous improvement of vendor and stakeholder relationships.
  • Coordinates month-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial records, reconciliations, and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Manages all aspects of the corporate card program, including approvals, reporting, and compliance.
  • Develops and maintains standardized processes, documentation, and policies to support compliance, efficiency, and audit readiness.

What We Are Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 6+ years in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, Procurement, or similar roles.
  • Systems: Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Software & Analysis: Experienced with accounting software, financial analysis, and data entry.
