Europastry USA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D and Trade Show Coordinator to support our innovation team in developing new bakery products and coordinating our presence at industry trade shows. This hybrid role bridges technical support and external-facing brand representation, playing a key part in bringing new ideas to market and showcasing Europastrys commitment to quality and innovation.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
R&D Support:
Assist in the development, testing, and documentation of new bakery product formulations.Coordinate ingredient sourcing, sample preparation, and pilot plant trials.Maintain accurate records of R&D work including formulations, test results, and specifications.Work closely with QA, Operations, and Marketing to ensure successful product scale-up and alignment with company standards.Manage the organization and shipping of samples for internal teams, customers, and sales partners.
Trade Show & Event Coordination:
Coordinate logistics for industry trade shows, customer demos, and innovation events in partnership with the Marketing and Sales teams.Prepare and organize sample products, equipment, and promotional materials for events.Attend trade shows as a representative of the R&D team, supporting product demos and engaging with attendees on product features and technical details.Ensure timely follow-up on trade show leads and customer sample requests.
Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Food Science, Culinary Science, or a related field preferred.13 years of experience in food product development or R&D coordination, preferably in the baking or food manufacturing industry.Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.Hands-on experience with bakery products or lab/kitchen testing environments is a plus.Ability to work collaboratively across departments and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel domestically for trade shows and events as needed.Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with R&D or product lifecycle software is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Hybrid of lab/kitchen, office, and trade show environments.Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when preparing samples or setting up for events.
