Materials Manager (Finance)

Are you looking for an entrepreneurial organization where you can make a significant impact? We are in search of a professional Materials Manager for our Baldwin Park, CA manufacturing facility.

Do you have excellent planning and organizational skills? Do you have experience in materials management, warehousing, and shipping? Then we are looking for you!
We are a medium-sized team in need of an experienced Materials Manager. We are financially stable, and a division of a large global manufacturer traded on the S&P 500

Key Responsibities

  • Develop, standardize, and implement the planning/provisioning methodology and supply chain processes.
  • Responsibilities include materials planning, inventory management, warehousing, shipping, and customer delivery support.
  • Manage department personnel activities related to forecasting materials, material planning, receipt, shipping, storage, and inventory control.
  • Provides support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Interfaces with internal management team and others on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments.
  • Use business analytical skills to identify seasonal inventory trends, and optimal stock levels per product type
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Our Team:

    Our team is located in Baldwin Park, CA. You will be on the front line of our effort to provide Materials Management expertise. You will report to and gain direction from the Supply Chain Director.

    We need your experience to include:

  • 5 -7 years of experience in Aviation/MRO materials management.
  • Experience working with suppliers and vendors.
  • Strong planning, and scheduling skills and experience
  • AA/AS Degree preferred or 5+ years of equivalent experience in Materials Management in Aviation/MRO.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an associated field preferred.
  • You should know how to:

  • Demonstrate capabilities in the following areas:
  • Manage a department responsible for planning, scheduling, and warehousing.
  • Be a proven team player who has excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills, well developed problem-solving skills; solid organizational skills; and the demonstrated ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of an organization.
  • Be a hands-on individual with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ability to set goals and objectives to meet Business Unit expectations.
  • Be ambitious and flexible, wanting to learn and grow professionally.
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Other items to note:

  • Due to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a US Citizen or Green card holder
  • Relocation is not available for this position.

    Compensation

    Salary Minimum: $100,000

    Salary Maximum: $110,000

    Incentive: No
