Were seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursingto serveBaton Rouge. In this vital role, you will lead a dedicated clinical team, support excellence in patient care, and help shape operational success alongside our senior leadership team. Your leadership will directly impact patients, families, and staffensuring care that meets the highest professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

License:Current RN license in the State of Mississippi (no restrictions) *Louisiana

Experience:Minimum of 3 years as an RN with recent patient care experience

Skills:Strong leadership, clinical judgment, organizational and communication skills. Ability to supervise, support, and motivate teams across diverse backgrounds.

???Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Clinical Oversight

Supervise Case Managers, On-Call RNs, Hospice Aides,and the Interdisciplinary Team

Manage daily standups, staffing, schedules, and after-hours care

Conduct field ride-along and ongoing performance coaching

Address second-tier calls and support escalation resolution

Quality & Compliance

Ensure documentation accuracy and timeliness

Oversee chart audits, infection control, and incident reviews

Maintain regulatory and agency compliance standards

Admissions & Interdisciplinary Coordination

Support timely, quality-driven admissions

Assign teams, coordinate with physicians, order initial medications

Attend and lead IDG meetings and care conferences

Staff Development & Administration

Support onboarding, training, and competencies

Conduct staff evaluations and employee coaching

Participate in PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) initiatives and admin call rotation

Payroll, Scheduling & Stewardship

Ensure optimal caseloads, visit frequency, and documentation compliance

Review billing, order patient supplies, and collaborate with the Finance team
