Role Summary

In this role you will manage, govern, and consults in accordance with the policies, procedures, service-level agreements, operating principles and standards relating to technology controls, regulatory requirements, and organizational mandates. You'll also act as an advisor to management and key external partners on broad-ranging projects.

Responsibilities

  • Performs risk assessments, monitors and reports policy and controls compliance
  • Facilitates and leads audit and compliance activities of high complexity or across multiple business units, including gathering technology controls evidence
  • Prepares materials for external audiences and delivers review sessions
  • Coordinates with technology and risk management partners to track and remediate control gaps or findings
  • Provides guidance relative to standard methodologies and process alignment with governance controls to associates at all levels across GT
  • Leads small multi-functional team for specific projects
  • Decomposes the most complex problems into discrete work units
  • Makes sound decisions with limited facts or resources
  • Recommends broad process improvements
  • Delivers controlled processes with focus on risk management and mitigation
  • Recommends new controls and processes as technologies, risks, and regulations evolve
  • Mentors other members of the team
  • Provides feedback and coaching to others who have management responsibility of resources
  • Actively helps team members make suggestions to improve practices
  • Participates in interviews for new team members

Business Knowledge:

  • Promotes technology policy and controls awareness and alignment with industry standard methodologies
  • Able to work directly with business partners across the enterprise
  • Makes decisions that show focus on current and future business and technology priorities, including key risks and technology controls

Qualifications

Required:

  • Typically requires 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Knows the latest best-of-breed technologies including cloud, SaaS, AI/GAI
  • Maintains knowledge of regulations, governance risk and controls technologies, standard methodologies, and industry trends
  • Identifies impacts across teams and coordinates to manage dependencies and potentially competing priorities

Preferred:

  • Experienced in leading technology audits and risk assessments
  • External audit experience such as SOC 1, SOC 2, and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), including Information Technology General Controls (ITGC's).
  • Certifications in relevant technology governance, risk, and control areas – e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGRC, CISSP
  • Financial services experience, including various industry regulations impacting Technology

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

Please review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity.

$120,000.00 - $205,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$132,000.00 - $225,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$150,000.00 - $256,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
