Chief of Staff, Cyber & Data Resilience (Finance)

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Chief of Staff for our Cyber Data & Resilience service line to support the variety of organizational, analytical, and managerial needs to manage our Cyber Risk service line.

As Chief of Staff you will work alongside the executive leaders of the Risk Advisory Business Unit and Cyber Data & Resilience service line to manage Special Projects, Key Initiatives, and evolving priorities of Kroll's leadership team.

  • Review, audit, support business segment financial performance, service line budgets, forecasts, etc.
  • Prepare QBR and reporting to be presented to Executive Leadership Team
  • Bespoke analytics and financial analysis to pressure test investment opportunities and develop projections on material initiatives
  • Ability to operate in highly confidential and critical business demands (e.g. acquisitions, cost transformation)
  • Where opportunities arise, provide self-driven business development opportunities from personal network of relationships
  • Support monthly and quarterly business reviews as well as Board Meetings to ensure preparation, clarity of message, and alignment across leadership
  • Support operating meeting cadence of BU Presidents to help prioritize key meetings, needs, and initiatives each week
  • Support data analysis on staffing, hiring, utilization, and more
  • Partner with Cyber Data & Resilience COO to create common processes and metrics
  • Maintain and update broader Risk Advisory strategy documentation
  • Work with Corporate Development team when acquisition opportunities arise

Essential Traits:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Graduate degree highly desirable
  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or related industries. Understanding of the pace, expectations, working environment, and cadence of a large professional services organization
  • Strong orientation to team culture and cross-functionality.
  • Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibility over time.
  • History of driving complex projects in the face of ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated drive for results through a history of achievements and strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of the business, finance and analytics
  • Expert leadership, mentorship, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner with a wide array of stakeholders, adept negotiation skills
  • Comfort with initiating and embracing difficult conversations
  • Proven history of dealing with ambiguity with innovation and creativity
  • Experience managing a diverse team
  • Proven interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities

The current salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000
