Job Description:
Warehouse Coordinator operates various pieces of equipment within the warehouse environment, to include: forklift, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack and the safe operation of a delivery truck. This position focuses on inventory management, accountability of purchase supplies and inventory, and safety. Warehouse Coordinators are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, processing incoming deliveries and maintaining proper levels of products ready for uses at any time by Print Operation and the Mail Center. Applicants should have at least 1 to 2 years' experience operating within a warehouse environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the business unit with day-to day operations
Loading and unloading trucks
Driving route deliveries as necessary (Post Office and vendor deliveries and pick-ups)
Maintain a clean warehouse and efficient work place
Perform other tasks within the scope of the role as necessary
Perform Inventory tasks when required including daily, monthly and yearend inventory processes.
Process incoming packages: track and deliver to appropriate departments (FEDEX, UPS, USPS and outside vendors)
The picking and delivery of internal orders to departments. (paper stock, envelopes and other supplies as needed)
Ability to learn/utilize software in order to maintain, reconcile, report and requisition inventory (Excel skills highly desirable)
Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
This position requires long periods of standing and walking
Bending and lifting are required
Must be physically fit and able to safely and repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
Must possess a valid Driver's License, or the ability to obtain a valid Driver's License.
1-2 years of warehouse experience
Hands on experience using forklift or electric pallet jack
Team player, excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug Test
Fast-paced, reliable, and detail oriented
Ability to work independently and multi-task
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to read and understand written or verbal instructions, work specifications and use basic math. #LI-DNI
