Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 (FAA) - 5:30am - 2:00pm (Finance)



As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and maintenance of aerospace components, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency of our operations and the satisfaction of our customers.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring that all assembly tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our aerospace technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform assembly tasks on aerospace components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.

FAA REQUIREMENTS

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will assemble and test complex mechanical systems, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability. Your role is critical in delivering products on time and to specification. You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly techniques and processes.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to assembly tasks.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, commercial or military automotive repair environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
