Marketing and Attorney Recruiting Coordinator (Legal)



Apply Today! We are a mid-sized Firm searching for a great marketing and recruiting candidate to join our team.

The Marketing & Attorney Recruiting Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Firm's marketing, business development, and attorney recruiting efforts. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Attorney Recruiting, this individual will assist with the day-to-day operations, allowing the Director to focus on firm-wide strategy. This role will be based in the New Orleans office and will provide essential on-the-ground coordination for the summer associate program and recruiting efforts while also managing administrative and strategic marketing tasks.

This position provides an opportunity to contribute significantly to the Firm's marketing and recruiting success while gaining insight into law firm business development and talent acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment. Potential for occasional travel to and from the Jackson Office as needed for meetings, events, or team collaboration.

MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

  • Assist with the creation and management of marketing materials, including Firm branding, attorney bios, promotional items, and event collateral.
  • Regularly update the Firm's website and social media platforms to reflect attorney accomplishments, Firm news, and industry insights.
  • Support business development efforts by researching industry trends, compiling client data, and maintaining an internal CRM system.
  • Assist in drafting and submitting nominations for attorney rankings, such as Best Lawyers, SuperLawyers, and Chambers.
  • Assist in coordinating firm-hosted events, such as the annual Crawfish Boil, in-house seminars, client engagement activities and holiday events.

ATTORNEY RECRUITING & SUMMER ASSOCIATE PROGRAM

  • Coordinate Spring and Fall on-campus interviews (OCI) for the Jackson and New Orleans offices, managing logistics, compiling packets, and communicating with law school Career Services personnel.
  • Assist in facilitating callback interviews, including scheduling and attorney coordination.
  • Serve as the on-site coordinator for the New Orleans summer associate program, working with the Director to ensure a well-organized and engaging experience.
  • Work with the Director to organize summer associate social events and outings.

STRATEGIC SUPPORT & ANALYTICS 

  • Compile reports on marketing and recruiting performance to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify trends in attorney hiring, retention, and business development to enhance Firm strategy.
  • Research and recommend new tools or approaches to optimize the Firm's marketing and recruiting processes.
  • Provide administrative support for Marketing and Recruiting Committees, including assisting with agenda preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing, recruiting, or a related professional services role. Law firm experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Canva, along with experience using Adobe Suite and social media platforms.  
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, PTO, and paid holidays.
