Industrial Wastewater Operator (Finance)
INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER OPERATOR
Inframark is looking for two Wastewater Operators in San Antonio TX.
You will be responsible for the treatment of influent wastewater from an industrial facilities paint department area. Treatment includes pH adjustment, metals precipitation, clarification, and filtration per City of San Antonio's POTW discharge permit.
The Operator/Technician is responsible for the proper application of treatment chemistries to insure complaint treatment.
SCHEDULE:
1 opening: 6am - 2 pm
1 opening: 11am - 7 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Chemical off loading
- Chemical application and dosing
- Flow adjustments
- System monitoring and control via PLC
- Filter press operation
- Multi Media Filter operation
- Sludge handling
- Multi Media Filter operation (if applicable)
- Data collection
- Sampling
- Report writing
- Customer interface
- Minor maintenance
- Equipment inspections
- Chemical feed usage review and tracking
- 24/7 Emergency Contact for troubleshooting assistance and decision - making
- Logging of wastewater activities and discharge data in daily logbook, and/or electronic database
- Sampling coordination with contracted outside laboratory
- Management of waste (coordination with site contractor for waste disposal)
Experience:
- Industrial Wastewater Operations and/or Industrial Mechanical and/or Electrical experience: 1 year (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
License:
- State of Texas, Class D Wastewater Operator, or ability to obtain within 90 days
