Forklift Operator 2 (Baler Room) (Finance)
Starting Rate: $19.75 (additional $2.00 for 2nd/3rd shift)
Work Hours: 3 Shift Rotation Schedule (rotates every 6 weeks); 7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM; 11PM-7AM, Weekends as required
Location: Willard, OH
As a Utility in our Baler Room, you will:
- Will load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device to prepare for shredding.
- Housekeeping in work area including rail dock, roof and Baler area to clear of debris and/or dust.
- May assist in performing Maintenance on Balers and Shredders as needed.
- May load trucks as well as railcars with bales (paper)
- Drive forklift truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move material.
- May refill liquefied-gas tank for forklifts as needed.
- Provide relief coverage for Baler Room Hoist drivers as needed.
- Banding and scrapping press plates as needed.
Position Specific Details:
- Minimum Starting Pay: $19.75
- Rotating shift position with a $2.00/hr shift differential
- Overtime/weekends may be required
Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain and retain Forklift Operator License through Lakeside Book Company.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather as needed.
- Must be willing to work daily/weekly overtime and weekends.
Internal Eligibility Requirements:
- Most recent performance rating must be "meeting expectations" or above.
- Meet the minimum qualifications as stated in the job posting.
- Must be in good standing (i.e. not at the Final Warning or Performance Improvement Plan step in Positive Counseling)
