Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift (Finance)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Completing preventive maintenance requirements of all equipment
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance to correct issues as necessary to maintain productivity and/or quality standards.
• Repairing machines and equipment, as necessary.
• Preventing unexpected machine breakdowns.
• Control downtime by communicating with all departments.
• Maintain equipment, parts and supplies, conserve resources when able.
• Prepare maintenance reports, document, and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
• Understand how to use measuring equipment.
• Ability to breakdown, repair, rebuild, and troubleshootProduction Machines.
• Ability to make simple parts or equipment and tools.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment, and devices that are required, and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.

Essential to this Position

• 2nd Shift - Working 8-hour Shifts Monday through Friday

Education & Experience

• Education Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired

• Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
• Ability to effectively work in teams.
• Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles.
• Must have basic math, reading, and communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of machine operations and mechanical functions.
• Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting.
• Frequent standing/walking required.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs.

The expected salary range for this position is $30-$35/hour. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short and Long term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
