USAC Payroll Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Analyst to join our Payroll team. This position plays a vital role in supporting payroll operations for the U.S. and Canada, with a key focus on managing incoming mail, processing wage garnishments, and assisting in payroll preparation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is comfortable working on-site to ensure critical payroll documents are handled securely and efficiently. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Receive, sort, and process incoming mail related to payroll, including garnishment orders, tax notices, and legal documents.
  • Review, enter, and track wage garnishments in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Liaise with government agencies, courts, and third-party administrators regarding wage orders and remittances.
  • Process final payments for terminated employees
  • Support payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees.
  • Perform data entry, audits, and reconciliations to ensure accurate payroll records.
  • Assist in the distribution of pay statements, year-end tax forms (e.g., W-2s, T4s), and other employee communications.
  • Provide timely and professional support to employee payroll inquiries.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive payroll data.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on cross-functional tasks and projects.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND four (4) years of payroll experience supporting multi-state U.S. payroll; Canada payroll experience

OR
  • High School Diploma/GED from AND (8) years of payroll experience supporting multi-state U.S. payroll; Canada payroll experience

AND

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Familiarity with garnishment processing and relevant legal requirements.
  • Ability to work onsite as required to manage physical mail and documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Ceridian).
  • Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.
  • Experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian payrolls.
  • Knowledge of wage and hour laws, including multi-state compliance.
  • Prior experience working with large-scale payrolls in a corporate or shared services environment.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $94,018 - $114,911, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
